Strategy & Planning Consultant
Catherine has over twenty-five years’ experience of creating and developing brands.
From both agency and client side, Catherine has developed indepth brand acumen with a deep understanding of consumer realities. She is expert in bringing brands to life through the right marketing mix and by inspiring and galvanizing brand teams – uniting them through a common brand purpose and developing distinctive positioning. Workshop facilitation is a key strength, guiding the power of collective thinking to harness diverse insights.
As a client at Unilever, Nestlé and Kimberly Clark she developed a specialty developing brands for women, which she continued at advertising agency Leo Burnett as Planning Director, working with Proctor & Gamble across Fabric Care, Femcare, Hair and Skincare. Catherine’s strategy also won a pitch to create a new brand and communication for a Boots Alliance/P&G joint venture to launch the No7 skincare range into European pharmacy as well as the positioning for skincare brand DDF.
Catherine has developed brand purpose for leading and challenger drinks brands, pharmaceutical brands, a leading healthcare agency and numerous start-ups. Most recently, Catherine worked closely with Brigid to define the brand platform and positioning for Norwex, lead global customer research with our research partners and develop the brand architecture and naming strategy.
