On Sunday, our founder and MD, Brigid McMullen was invited down to BBC Radio London to be its latest Listed Londoner!
She shared memories of 80s London – creative highs, nights out at Bradley’s Spanish Bar (a tiny Hanway Place gem known for its loud jukebox and cold beer), and many hazy summer days spent playing agency softball matches in Regents Park.
Brigid also reflected on past work for clients such as beauty company Coty (think Rimmel, Covergirl and Wella) and The British Lung Foundation for which she designed the red balloon logo, given iconic status by Patron Princess Diana and displayed in London’s black cabs for over 20 years as a reminder not to smoke.
Her most memorable London night out? Apart from seeing Nina Simone, Pink Floyd and Miles Davis? A 40th birthday in fancy dress as Ginger Spice with red wig and red leather minidress, on a double decker bar tour all over London, from Shoreditch to the West End, culminating at the 100 Club on Oxford Street.

A huge thank you to David Grant for the great, thought provoking conversation, and the producers of the show for making it happen!
