6 November 2015
This is the sixth year we’ve helped bring Salon International to life, and we’ve taken a very different creative approach to the 2015 campaign for this influential, exciting hairdressing event that takes place in October at Excel London, and draws a diverse international audience.
This year we’ve shown how the event is relevant to everyone’s needs – to broaden its appeal and attract all types of salon owners, stylists, and students. It’s about igniting their passion for the industry, and showing how the event can help them achieve their aspirations.
The theme for the 2015 campaign focuses on the show’s diversity and interactivity. Central to this is a twitter style ‘conversation’ featuring different visitors’ experiences and their excitement about everything on offer. This graphic approach encourages others to engage and share their thoughts and inspiration from the day through social media. We also art directed photoshoots at last year’s show and use the imagery to show the breadth of what visitors can do at Salon International.
The fully integrated campaign will be rolled out across advertising, website and social media, event displays and signage, brochures, direct mail, ticketing and more.
Our 2015 campaign shows the true essence of the show from the perspective of those that attend – there really is something there for anyone involved in hairdressing. And we hope it will inspire them to share their own great experiences through social media or when they get back to the salon.
