Joe is the design lead on all Workroom projects and helps define the strategic creativity at the heart of our business.
With a rich pedigree in the branding and design communications world, Joe’s won awards for branding, packaging, digital and retail. Joe is not only highly strategic but creativity is the foundation to all his thinking and having a sound knowledge of customer and colleague touchpoint allows him to join the dots between logic and flare.
Having run his own top 100 UK branding consultancy, as well as working for other leading agencies such as Interbrand, Rufus Leonard, Bloom, Dragon Rouge, Bulletproof, McCann London and others, he’s experienced in working across many cultures. With his own agency he was personally responsible for two of the largest telecoms brands in the middle east, designed iconic packaging for drinks brand J20, as well as the brand overhaul for Sainsbury’s Tu fashion brand. In other agency roles, he was lead designer on accounts like Coca Cola, Ernst & Young, Royal Mail, BT, Shell, Adidas, Kao and many others.
Alongside his creative direction role, Joe has been guest judge for industry design awards such as CSD, has had 2 minutes of fame as guest brand consultant on Supershoppers and holds guest talks at brand-related events.
Joe has 3 children, 5 guitars, a collection of vintage packaging and… a patient wife.
