We’ve stirred things up again to create a punchy new brochure for the WIG Women’s Leadership Programme. WIG needs to appeal more to the private sector, so we recommended taking a compelling, proof-driven message approach. The cover shows a photo-infographic demonstrating the shocking statistic that only 6% of FTSE 100 executive directors are women. This is supported by a McKinsey & Co research piece that found companies with more women on their boards outperform those without by an impressive 56%! This notion is then enhanced with quotes from the programme’s leaders and mentors, and a reversal of the infographic inside where all the infographic people are women.
The WIG team said: “We think it’s one of the best brochures we’ve ever done. We love the design, and its challenging and informative message. Our members love it too – it has already helped to generate a lot of interest in our Women’s Programme.”
A hidden message within a quote brings extra depth to the NEDs recruitment brochure cover. WIG provides this service for the public sector, offering 100+ FTSE and professional services companies from which to recruit board members. The brochure emphasises the depth of experience and excellence of the full recruitment service provided. Written by The Workroom, we used messaging to create the imagery throughout.
The WIG Highlights 2012 reflected on a great year for both WIG and for the UK, taking the Olympic motto ‘Swifter, Higher, Stronger’ as the theme.
The new WIG High Potential Leaders programme, designed to help leaders develop their management skills, uses WIG’s visual language of the ‘fizz’ to add energy to an arrow lifting off, while the headline ‘Step up. Step across.’ points to the cross-sector opportunities as well as the high performance programme.
